Scenario - Welcome to the ECA Engineering and Architecting SIEM and Splunk program. o give you the best experience possible we have designed scenario-based questions and assignments to give you the most real-world experience possible throughout the program. This is more of an intermate to advanced program so it will be more fast-paced compared to the introduction program that we offer.

In this scenario, you will be playing the role of a newly minted Splunk Architect named Chris. Chris works at Silversmith Incorporated. A multi-national dessert E-Commence company that sells there gourmet desserts all around the world. As a multi-national company, they have bakery plants in New York City, London, and Houston Texas. Your manager Maria has assigned you to help out the IT operations and Security team with building out a new Splunk and log management environment for the firm. She wants you to meet and work with the stakeholders to get the requirements and architecture out of the new environment that best suits our needs. After that she wants you to work with the engineers and consultant's on actually deploying that new environment for test and then dev. Lastly, you will help with the onboarding process for some of the OS logs for the environment.
